Uniform dress creates a climate with a greater sense of school identity and belonging, expands academic excellence, and improves student behavior and safety. We believe that the principles of modesty, professionalism, and good taste are core values represented in the CCPS Uniform Dress Code.

As we prepare for August 7, 2017, the first day of school, please prepare your son or daughter to come to school dressed in the Clayton County Schools’ Uniform Dress Attire: The basic uniform shall consist of a long or short-sleeved collared shirt (i.e. polo, oxford, or dress shirt) and khaki or navy bottoms only.

It is the desire of Sequoyah Middle School to have a structured, uniform dress policy as a way to ensure order and safety on each grade level. Therefore, our scholars will wear the following dress code for the 2017-18 school year.
