Greetings Family! It is with great pride and excitement that I welcome you all to a new year at Sequoyah Middle School, affectionately known as Warrior Nation! It is with immense pleasure that I have the opportunity to serve your family and community as a whole in the capacity of principal.   At SMS, we collectively strive every day to maximize student development and achievement. I am deeply committed to the vision of CCPS in “Building a Better Tomorrow, Today!” as I have had the pleasure of serving the Clayton County community since 2008 in the capacities of paraprofessional, teacher, school counselor, assistant principal, and now principal.

I wholeheartedly believe that a quality education is essential and fundamental in developing productive citizens. A quality education provides all learners with capabilities they require to become economically productive, develop sustainable livelihoods, contribute to peaceful and democratic societies, and enhance individual well-being. I desire to continuously nurture an atmosphere at Sequoyah that is conducive to that quality education as well as student achievement. Our unwavering commitment to your child’s success is vital to me. Our goal is to sustain a nurturing environment where the community is empowered, learning is attractive, and students have the opportunity and desire to reach their full potential. To our parents, we are a part of your village in a positive partnership on behalf of your child.
