Parent and Family Engagement Resource Center

The Parent and Family Engagement Resource Center has several parenting/teaching brochures in English and Spanish, a parent lending library, and instructional resources to support learning at home that are available for check out. Also, there are computers with Internet access available for your convenience. As we begin and throughout the school year, I will also be conducting face to face and virtual parent workshops, seminars, and training that will provide you with strategies to best support our scholars learning at home. Some of the workshops for you we will have for example are Math Made Easy, how to claim your Parent Portal Account, and What is Social Emotional Learning (SEL) just to name a few.

Available Services

  • I am honored to be able to assist and help families with the following services:
  • Providing academic resources
  • Coordinating opportunities for parents to meet other Sequoyah parents.
  • Facilitating parent and community workshops
  • Being the liaison between school, teacher, parent, and stakeholders as needed.
  • Assisting with computer usage. There are 4 computers for parents to use in the Parent Center.

The Sequoyah Middle School Parent and Family Engagement Resource Center is an extraordinary privilege and one that parents should fully enjoy.
